About Refviero
If you're looking to explore Komodo with comfort but don’t want to sacrifice authenticity, Refviero strikes that balance—spacious enough for small groups, intimate enough to feel personal. At 51 metres long with just five cabins, it hosts up to 14 guests, making it ideal if you’re travelling with a mixed group that values both privacy and shared moments. The Master Cabin sits slightly apart, perfect for those who want a quieter retreat after a full day of island hikes or manta encounters at Manta Point. With indoor dining, a dedicated entertainment space with karaoke, and a room designed for relaxation, Refviero suits families or friends who enjoy downtime as much as adventure.
Your days unfold across the park’s most reliable highlights, timed to avoid crowds and catch the best light. On Day 1, you’ll board in Labuan Bajo and head straight to Kelor Island—its green hills framed by white sand—where a late afternoon trek offers panoramic views as the sun dips behind the islands. Snorkeling here in the calm shallows gives a soft start, especially for younger guests or those less confident in the water. Back on board, dinner is served in the climate-controlled dining area, a thoughtful touch during the hotter months when sea breezes aren’t enough.
Day 2 starts early with a sunrise view from Padar Island, where the hike up takes about 30 minutes and delivers that iconic Komodo postcard scene—curved bays of pink-tinged sand below, ocean stretching to the horizon. After breakfast back on the boat, you’ll head to Komodo Village for the ranger-guided dragon walk through the savannah. These prehistoric creatures move slowly but command attention, and the rangers know exactly where to find them. Later, lunch is served as you cruise toward Pink Beach, where the sand gets its hue from crushed coral. Afternoon snorkeling at Manta Point is often the highlight—mantas glide close, drawn by cleaning stations near the reef, and even from the surface you’ll see their wings slicing through the blue.
On Day 3, you’ll visit Taka Makassar, a sandbar that emerges at low tide, perfect for photos and shallow swimming. It’s a peaceful contrast to the previous day’s activity. From there, you’ll sail to Kanawa Island, where the drop-offs attract reef sharks and schools of jackfish—great for both snorkellers and certified divers. The boat returns to Labuan Bajo by mid-afternoon, giving you time to catch evening flights or explore the town before departure. With a sundeck forward and shaded lounging areas aft, Refviero lets you choose your pace—whether you’re soaking up sunrise with coffee or unwinding after a long swim.
The cabins are laid out to maximise comfort without excess. The Master Cabin has extra space and a private layout, while the two Deluxe Cabins on the upper deck offer better views and airflow. Superior and Main Deck Deluxe share similar dimensions but differ slightly in natural light. The Sharing Cabin is best for solo travellers open to pairing up—it keeps the group rate accessible without compromising on bedding or storage. All have individual climate control, reading lights, and private bathrooms with hot water, essentials on a multi-day trip where routine matters.
