Terms & Conditions

Effective April 2026

By making a booking with PT. KOMODO EXPLORER INDONESIA ("Trip Komodo Tour"), you accept the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment

  • Deposit: 30% of total is required to confirm booking. Balance due 30 days before departure.
  • Last-minute (<30 days): Full payment required.
  • Methods: Bank transfer (BNI 2036575837), credit card (3% surcharge), or Wise/international transfer.
  • Currency: Quoted in USD or IDR. Exchange rate locked at deposit.

2. Cancellation

  • More than 60 days before departure: 80% refund of deposit
  • 30–60 days: 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days: No refund (insurance recommended)
  • Weather-related cancellation by captain: full refund or free reschedule

3. Itinerary Changes

Captains may alter routes due to weather, sea conditions, or National Park regulations. We prioritize guest safety over itinerary fidelity. No refunds for itinerary adjustments made for safety reasons.

4. What's Included

Charter fee includes accommodation onboard, all meals, crew service, snorkel equipment, freshwater, and transfers from Labuan Bajo airport/hotel to pier. See individual boat pages for boat-specific inclusions.

5. What's Not Included

International/domestic flights, National Park entrance fees (approx. IDR 500,000–1,500,000 per person), dive packages (unless specified), alcohol beyond welcome drinks, travel insurance, personal expenses.

6. Safety & Liability

  • All guests must sign a liability waiver before boarding.
  • Travel insurance covering medical evacuation is strongly recommended.
  • Divers must present valid certification (PADI/SSI/CMAS).
  • Pregnant guests (3rd trimester) and persons with severe mobility/heart conditions should consult us before booking.

7. Disputes

Any dispute will be resolved under Indonesian law, at the Labuan Bajo court of jurisdiction.
