About Rebel
If you're travelling with a small group or celebrating something meaningful, the 30-metre Rebel makes sense — she’s built for ten guests who want space without formality. Launched in 2020, she balances modern comfort with the flexibility to move quickly between sites in Komodo National Park. You’re not sharing cabins, and with only five en-suite rooms, the crew can focus on timing your dives, meals, and landings just right. This isn’t a floating hotel — it’s a private charter where your pace sets the rhythm.
Your days unfold across three full decks, each designed for different moments. Mornings start with coffee on the upper deck as you approach Padar Island, watching the sun rise over its curved ridges. After the dragon walk on Komodo Island, you’ll snorkel with mantas at Manta Point, then unwind at Pink Beach, where crushed coral gives the sand its hue. The crew knows how to time these transitions — avoiding crowds at Kalong Island’s bat exodus by arriving 20 minutes earlier than most boats. With Rebel’s shallow draft, they can tuck closer to shore at Kanawa or Taka Makassar for better anchoring.
Sleeping arrangements are straightforward: five private en-suite cabins, all climate-controlled, each with individually regulated AC and sound insulation between rooms. There's no bunk-sharing unless your group chooses it. Storage includes under-bed compartments and waterproof lockers near the dive deck. The master cabin sits forward on the main deck with direct deck access, while the others are arranged aft and midship. Charging stations use EU and USB-A ports — no adapters needed for most devices.
Meals are served where you want them: al fresco at the stern table, shaded on the mid-deck lounge, or inside the climate-controlled salon. The galley runs on propane and electric induction, so your breakfast omelette or evening curry comes out consistently. They stock Indonesian staples and European options — think nasi goreng one night, grilled reef fish with herb butter the next. Dietary needs? Mention them at booking. The wine cellar holds reds and whites from Australia and Europe, plus local craft beer and non-alcoholic ginger beer brewed in Flores.
Your itinerary follows a proven 3D2N rhythm but can shift slightly based on weather or group preference. Day one starts with arrival in Labuan Bajo, boarding by noon, then sailing to Kelor for a late afternoon swim and sunset. Day two begins before dawn with Padar sunrise, followed by Komodo Island’s ranger-guided dragon trek, then snorkeling at Manta Point and a beach lunch at Pink Beach. End with Kalong Island’s bat colony at dusk. Day three explores Taka Makassar’s sandbar, then Kanawa’s coral gardens before returning to Labuan Bajo by late afternoon.
