About Majik Cruise
If you're looking to travel with complete privacy in Raja Ampat, Majik Cruise is built around that idea. At 42 metres long and carrying just one cabin, this isn’t a shared liveaboard experience — it’s a private charter by design. Built in 2022, the yacht blends traditional Phinisi lines with modern comfort, making it ideal for couples or two families who want full access to the boat without mixing with other guests. You won’t be navigating crowded decks or scheduling around strangers — your crew, your dive guide, and your dining times all sync with your rhythm.
Your days unfold across Raja Ampat’s most iconic sites, starting with an early morning at Batu Bolong, where the rising sun hits the limestone stacks just as reef sharks begin their patrol. The boat’s tender drops you at the base of the rock for a guided snorkel through narrow channels lined with soft coral. By mid-morning, you’re at Wayag, though the full lagoon crossing takes time — Majik Cruise makes it with steady speed, anchoring in a quiet bay where you have the viewpoint trail to yourself by late afternoon. No rush, no groups ahead — just your pace.
On day two, you’ll drift along the edge of Misool’s karst formations, where the water shifts from deep blue to turquoise as you enter the rifts of Boo Windows. The boat’s dive platform stays down for hours if you want back-to-back entries. Between dives, lunch is served on the upper deck, shaded by canvas but open to the breeze — grilled mahi-mahi, papaya salad, and fresh coconut straight from the husk. In the evening, you anchor in the Dampier Strait, where currents bring pelagics close to the reef walls. Night snorkel here, with the crew holding lights at the stern, and you might see mantas circling in the dark.
With only one cabin, the layout prioritises space and comfort over capacity. Your suite includes a king bed, climate control, and an ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower. Large hull windows bring in natural light without sacrificing privacy. The main salon opens fully to the aft deck, where a dining table seats four — ideal for intimate meals. The upper deck has a shaded lounger area and a forward sunpad, both positioned for unobstructed views during transit. There’s no gym, no spa, no theatre room — but you’re not here for onboard distractions. You’re here for the water, and Majik Cruise keeps you close to it.
The 3D2N itinerary begins with your arrival in Sorong. A local agent meets you at the airport and transfers you by private car to the marina, where the crew welcomes you aboard by midday. From there, you sail directly to the Misool region, making first contact with the reefs by afternoon. Day three wraps up with a slow cruise through the Fam Islands, stopping briefly at a secluded sandbar for a final swim before returning to Sorong by late afternoon. No fixed schedules, no rigid timings — the captain adjusts based on tides, weather, and your energy levels.
